Dr. Hungpo Kuo pursued her education in Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine between 1981 and 1987. After graduation she chose to teach and work as a college clinic faculty at her alma mater. For the following four years she taught basic science classes, medical English and clinic for international students. The ambition for teaching this ancient healing art brought her to the beautiful Scandinava. For the next five years she taught and worked in a clinic entirely focused on natural healing in Sweden.
In 1996 Dr. Kuo moved to Davenport, Iowa to further her knowledge. She received her Master of Science and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees.
Dr. Kuo is among the first few acupuncturists to be licensed in the State of Iowa. She operates a full time practice treating patients from Iowa, Illinois, and numerous other states.
